Default new morgage

we have been told it is better to set up a morgage before you go over to oz,has any body heard any different

My cousin is a personal banker for National told me that it doesn't really matter when you do it and it is straight forward enough to do if you can offer a decent deposit.

Most lenders like to see 20% at least

You can borrow with less deposit but you'll be deemed a higher risk so they charge you to ensure yourself against this risk
