I am a carpenter moving to ozz, ive got about 3grands worth of tools i need for my job but all tools in uk are 110 volt for site use, just trying to find out if i can bring them with me and use my site transformer which steps the voltage down to 110 from 240 (not sure if the transformer will work in ozz).
if i can do this would save me lots of time and money

would appreciate any info what so ever no matter how small

If you post a specific thread about tools in the Australia forum you will almost certainly get an answer to these questions, which I'm afraid I know nothing about. If you go to the search button at the top of your main page, hit that, and then write tools in the keyword box, change the box directly underneath it to 'search titles only' and specify just the Australia forum, you may also get some good ideas
