OK its only August and there seems a few peeps who would be keen for a meet so without taking over Lauras thread (hope you don't mind) I'm gona suggest we meet up on either sat 18th aug/sun 19th or the following week of sat 25th/sun 26th of August (this day would suit you Curly let me know!!)
Some of us have kids whilst others don't so somewhere that we can all meet up whilst the kids are entertained would be a good idea!! Any suggestions? an outdoor park where we can all bring along a couple of bottles of alcohol and a picnic may be a good place.
What do you all think?

Me and Hubby are here! I'm 31, he's 34, no kids. We live in Arundel and have been here for 7 weeks now

Soapy won't be bothered if people have meets. We had them before he got here Most of us are lazy though and will happily let anyone else organise one I think it would be quite good if there was a smaller meet for newbies. The bigger ones can be daunting at first because everyone "appears" to know each other so well. Saying that, going to one with "oldies" does give you lots of info, so have a smaller newbie one and then the others are not so scary

Hiya, sorry its a bit late to reply, but we're going to Upper Coomera, landing on 23rd, please let me know if you arrange something after this date, I would love to come and meet up with you all. Havent got a rental prop yet, but know where we want to be.

we land 21st family with 6 kids 17,11,10,6,3 and 22 months.
we have house organised in pacific pines would love to meet up with you all any tips or advice would be warmly welcomed.
starting to feel nervous knowing the days coming nearer so a get together would be great with others in same boat.
please let me know if you arrange anyhting after this date

Any weekends good for us, we did'nt make soapys meet as we had only just arrived and were too busy, but we are settled now so would like to come to a newbies meet up.
