Hi there,
We have been in Brisbane for nearly 4 weeks and our 15 year old daughter is struggling to adjust and make friends. Is there any teenagers out there who can help Laura by showing her what is in the City, where teenagers 'hang out' and what there is to do? She usually has an outgoing personality (but has been very quite since we have been here) and into rock music.
Any help or suggestions would be very welcomed.
Thanks,
John

sorry can't really help - aside from say 'give her time'.
We moved out here with our 14 year old daughter and it took her about 3 months to begin to 'normal' as how she would put it.
Get her on this site and ask her to PM my daughter who is 16 just - here user name is berra girl.

Thanks for the support and advice it is very welcomed.
We are living in Balmoral for the next three weeks but will be moving to one of the northern suburbs after that. At the moment we have applied for a rental in Carseldine and await to hear if we have got it.
Are there any family 'meet ups' soon where Laura could meet other people her age?
Any other help you could give would be great.
John.
