Default Petrol Prices

Unleaded Petrol was $1.13 (with the 4c voucher) at our local garage yesterday. Hopefully this will be more than a blip.

Fuel is always cheaper on a Tuesday as we always fill up then.

We paid $1.02 with a voucher (Gold Coast)

I usually fill up on Tuesdays as well, but I've not seen it go this low for a while. With the GST free petrol you guys get up there, I guess you might see it go below a $.

Still around the $1.30 mark here. They say the current prices are only a blip anyway - due to a surplus of oil - and that normal service will be resumed shortly.

115.9 here in Melb yesterday (at least in the morning) had jumped to 125.9 by the evening.

It was under a $/litre in 2004, here's hoping those days return

I'm not so sure about this. I look at the Bloomberg site every day & they are saying that the market sentiment is looking downwards. So barring any crisis in Iran, storms in the Gulf of Mexico etc prices should continue to fall.

In Perth the prices don't seem to change on a daily basis as they do on the east coast. Saying that, Shell put up their prices on Monday when a lot of other servos put their prices down.
