I am looking for a rental or accomodation for about 3-4 weeks in the Sydney or central coasts area please. Would like it to be cheap but not nasty if you know what i mean, is there anything that you can recommend if so please link if you have them or just a name that I can gogle please

We're in the same boat. Just booked 4 weeks accomodation in Manly (our first choice to settle us in ) - just a studio room, full kitchen, balcony, pool in grounds, car space etc.

Costing $770/week whilst we look for a 'proper' rental.

It depends on the time of year you are looking, but if you are not coming in peak season, try looking at some of the holiday parks. Many have cabins for rent. In season they are expensive, but out of season they are quite reasonable. Try a search for Big 4 Holiday Parks. There are othere holiday parks as well though.
