Default Myth TV

A friend of a friend has this in his home and I am interested in finding out more about it. Does it take its feed off the internet and what does it cost? Do you need to provide your own PVR and is the software free or Windows-based? Thanks.

Its just a digital recorder I think, so it records anything it picks up from digitial tv card. Like a free linux version of windows media center.

"The feed" as you call it, depends on how you set it up. It can receive the free digital channels as well as Pay TV like Foxtel (but you'll pay for that).

Go here: http://www.overclockers.com.au/wiki/MythTV
Scroll down until you get to the section called "Australian EPG tutorials and "How To's" and click on and read the info in the links.
