Default my pets (sorry forgot to ask earlier)

i have a dog (poppy), a gekho (not sure what his name is - kids keep changing it) and three corn snakes (cleo, bart and gollum).

i probably wont take the gekho, but i would like to take my dog.

my problem is my snakes - i dont know if they would survive the journey but dont trust anyone to look after them properly.

has anyone else taken reptiles before and if so how did it go.

cheers

Well, I was afraid....., and I have been proven right in my concerns:
http://www.aqis.gov.au/icon32/asp/ex...xt&intSearch=1
"Reptiles include turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, iguanas, tuataras and crocodiles.

The importation of live reptiles as pets is prohibited.

Reptiles may only be imported into scientific institutions approved by quarantine or state government registered zoos, where they are held for the remainder of their lives."

Sorry....
