or we could let some bloke of the Mail wonder how someone could take a body on the Stuart Highway drive it away and it not be found by trackers, its tarmac remember, after all where would you hide a body out there?

Kevin

There's a lot of dragging involved when you're trying to shift a dead body from one vehicle to another, so why was there no evidence of this?

he was found guilty in a public court by a jury.....and im pretty sure they have to have a majority of 'guilty's for him to be found guilty......if ya get my drift.

dont know much about aussie law, but if there was any concrete evidence that he was innocent im sure it would have surfaced, and he wouldnt be in jail now.

perhaps joanne lees slightly inappropriate behaviour (the filming of the media etc as she went into court) makes her seem an easy target?

if he is innocent, i hope they pay him the appropriate compensation though.

Sorry mate but this is factual evidence given in the court, I don't watch American crap like that.

Murdoch was off his head on amphetamines and booze, doing one of his regular drug runs across the outback. He kept seeing Falconio and Lee's camper at the petrol stations both parties visited to refuel. Amphetamines make you paranoid and in his ****ed-up drug-addled brain he thought the two poms were following him - so he decided to do something about it. After the clear time-stamped CCTV footage of him leaving the last petrol station, he left before the backpackers, waited for them up the road, flagged them down, brained Falconio, tied up Lees, returned to finish off Falconio, Lees escaped, Falconio killed and buried, Lees hides out for two hours then flags down help on the highway. Experts believe Falconio's body will never be recovered because the guy was off his head on drugs and, let's face it, one bit of outback scrubland looks pretty much like any other. So... leaving aside all the concrete genetic evidence, such as the bloodstain on the shirt, the homemade handcuffs and the positive identification of Murdoch from a line-up of eight people - and forgetting for a moment his close aquital for the rape of a child earlier that year and the description of the 'killing kit' including nightvision goggles and homemade handcuffs that they found his van.... remind me again exactly why you have a problem believing this guy did it.

I'll be the 1st one to defend an old kombi and its general fabness , but there is no way an old kombi can do much over 55mph in the out back as the hot air just will not cool the old motor ! I only saw one family the next day in a rest area ever again the whole way round !
I still think he was involed too , but who knows she may have helped :scared:

I don't know much about the science of faces.......????

But I beleive the reason people think she might have something to do with it is because of the way she looks!

She has an upturned nose...which in itself isn't flattering but she also has a "poker face" which hasn't changed in expression from the minute this all happened.

Some people just LOOK guilty but maybe they aren't?????

Or maybe she's a pig??????? lol

The jury delivered their verdict in less than a day after many weeks of testimony - so they must have had a pretty damn compelling reason to lock up Murdoch. Bottom line is that people just love conspiracy and myth - it's usually far more interesting than the truth.
