Flip, North Ringwood primary is excellent if i may say so, the quality of teaching staff is 1st class the school is in good repair, there charter is met continually so good luck to you & your family.

may i just say this to all people reading, when deciding on the school for your kids please do think of the kids and what schools have to offer them not YOU.

Private or state there is good points in both and bad in both.
There is a great opinion here in Australia like it or NOT people,,lots of parents think you have to spend lots of dosh on their kids education or they may miss the boat to to say in life. thats not true some private schools are excellent as are some state schools, you as parents have the right to decide but please do think of the kids & there future, not what you want.

i hope i dont offend anyone, with this post

regards

Arthur

PS

i also work for the education dept and i see excellent kids in both state & private, so has this opened a can of worms.???

Talking Re: Moving to Melbourne

I think everyone has made good points on the suburbs that they live in because they are ideal for them and it ticks all their boxes.
I live in Mornington about an hour from the city, it is a nice area but it getting built up too much and in the next few years it's going to be too busy.
I don't work in the city so i don't have to travel in all that traffic and believe me at 1am it is still busy on the roads, as for schools i have a son just started prep in a public school and he enjoys it, the education system is ok, but i am comparing it to England and having to make my son a packed lunch everyday instead of having school dinners.
The point is all suburbs have their good and bad points and if your working in St Kilda or nearer the city you have to decide if you could live with the travelling everyday from Frankston or move a little closer to cut the travel time down and schools are generally the same public schools are good out here, not too say private aren't but i can't afford that luxury.
I hoped i helped you not just confused you more.
