This particular one (Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize) gave it to New York.
Brissy is included as a special mention due to the strong vision of the city councils Urban Renewal agency.
Good on Brissy !

The notable mention is for the success of their Violence Prevention through Urban Upgrading program which addresses the most basic priority of urban policy -- personal safety.
Good work Khayelitsha

Love these things. They all have such different slants/angles that there will always be one that plugs the city you happen to be living in.

Brissie was also mentioned in some top music scene survey, its been quite a week.
However I suspect with the election tomorrow Captain Bligh probably slipped every survey going a free hand of bananas.
