Default Mornington Penisular - Victoria

Hi all

have recently returned from trip to Aus.

Really loved Melbourne. Visited Mount Eliza, which I loved. The shops, bay etc were great. Didn't get as far as Mornington and Mount Martha (I know they are close but we ran out of time), but would like to know if they are as nice as Mount Eliza area/cheaper or more expensive.

Also, am I right in thinking you can't get a train to Melboune from Mount Eliza? Is Frankston the last stop from the city and if so how long does the journey take?

thanks
Lis

Hi Lis

Frankston is the last stop except for a diesel service which crosses the peninsula, it takes about 1 hour to get from the city to Frankston.
