Question More on shopping

Another question, I'm afraid, for the shopping list. Need to get dd a bed, and she is dead keen to have a bunk one ready for the sleepovers she's planning! We haven't been shopping for furniture yet, so haven't had any opportunity to look, but has anyone seen one of these (or similar) in Oz? (I am bearing in mind what one very sensible poster said a while back to a question about bunks - watch out for ceiling fans!)

I can see this week is going to be hectic. We have to find a rental ( ), organise our freight delivery ( ) and get the *essentials* we had to sell in the UK. (Mind, I do love shopping.... ) We were supposed to be finding a house last week, but having both had flu all week, it's knocked our plans sideways.

Thanks, Steve and Linda. We're currently in Fremantle but moving further south, hopefully next weekend. I'll follow up your suggestions. It's a great help knowing where to *start* looking - there seem to be a lot of bed shops in Oz.

Hiya Sue

Most of the bed shops have a variation on a theme. Ikea probably does have them, but they are way up in Osbourne Park so could be tricky with deliveries etc...

There are plenty of bed shops in Rockingham that stock double bunks like that. As the other poster says, Harvey Norman will definitely have them..a lot closer to your new home too.

Hope you're getting over the flu!

love sophia xx
