How long did folks wait till they managed to get a mobile contract??
I'm looking to get one but don't know how long to wait.

We have been here 13 months and just got a mobile on Contract.
Not sure if we had to wait any length of time. We both got credit cards within a few month of being here. I think it depends on how much dosh you have sat in the bank

I got a phone on contract in the first week here. My application was declined at the first attempt because they put that I was unemployed on the form. They put it through again straight away saying I was a homemaker, which got accepted.

I have seen some 12 month ones recently though - think we'll change to one of those when we can.
