Yes you can but its crap. Much better and quite simple to make your own.

"Boss" made by DYC I think. Used their malt vinegar too.

Never heard of it. Is that a New Zealand brand, or can you get it elsewhere?

I used to buy Cornwells Thick Mint Sauce. They make a pretty good balsamic vinegar, too.

NZ Brand. I buy Cornwells vinegar, haven't seen their mint sauce. Only stuff I've come across here is fountain (made by cerebos: american company)

Haven't found the real sort here yet just the jelly but then it took a few weeks to track down suet and almost have a chip pan.

I've not read the site, I just "googled" mint sauce and that came up

Just done that have seen some good recipes although wonder if you can substitute the vermouth for a slosh of xxxx gold!!!!! am obviously not sophisticated enough to make own having left all my years of herbs and spices in england. thanks though coz the mint jelly is sooooo sweet its terrible will try recipe

Havent read all the answers, but my mum used to make her own so thats what we do, right little domestic goddess I am now

fresh finely chopped mint from the garden
pinch sugar
malt vinegar

Much better than the lime green stuff you see in the shops here

The mint, you buy it in punnets in the garden section of bunnings or big w, about $2 keep it in a pot tho, it grows like wildfire here.

You can also get fresh mint in local supermarkets and greengrocers.
