Wow - just the sort of question I have been waiting for !!!

We cannot get the type of MS that we are used to.

They have varieties - baxters etc - but they DONT taste the same.

My OH uses MS when he is making a raita for the curry.

To tell you the truth - my father in law brought 5 jars across this xmas - so that should keep us going lol :)

There is a lot over here but nothing like the thick Colman's mint sauce etc. It is the only thing I ask my visitors and senders of food parcels to send.
You can buy it in the UK shops dotted around at a price.
I too use it for Indian cooking.

Disclaimer for trolls: I love it here and am adapting to all things Australian. This is not a whinge! Just a response to question!

I use Fountain mint sauce...yum.

I use it for my raita too, not the extra thick and minty one, just the normal one. It tastes pretty good. :D

Similar down here (looking out of the office window) Warm outside though - think the sun will break through. The first cloudy day in yonks - so I am definately not complaining!

You work in the City?

I will be up in the City (Pitt Street) next week
