I'm not sure how I feel about this, though. I wonder if it'll change the make up of Brisbane's demographic very much.

Eg, We'll get more Aussies coming here but less foreigners, so It could change the feel of the place a little bit more, possibly make it a bit more bland.

Having said that, I mean if people are forced to stay somewhere shitty until they get PR, they'll just move to SE QLD and or decide it's not a good idea to come.

I assume this will only effect the most un-needed skilled immigrants and medical staff etc will still be given top priority.

Really though, SE QLD is not crowded by world standards. On the other hand we were running out of water last year, so f*** the immigrants taking showers with our water.
