Hi all
First post on site! looking to move to Melbourne, currently living in UK Dorset and hoping to find a place that puts us close to the beach for surf and windsurf,as well as a nice area to live in with good schools and still close to Melbourne , not much to ask!

Yes Bordy but which beach would you recommend to these new forum members?
Torquay? Anywhere at Mornington for Surfing?
I saw people on Brighton beach kite surfing.

Thanks for the reply, just been checking out Mornington on a few sites and its sounds like a nice place. Any other windsurfers made the move to oz?

I know some people in Mornington who wouldn't swap it for the world. They have a great house (they're builders, which is pretty handy) close to the beach. However, it's a long way to commute to the CBD so the job you do and where you are likely to find work is a huge factor.
