Default melbourne-best avoid....

Which 'burbs or areas are best avoided and for what reasons. Thinking of family life, avoiding crime,drugs etc., transport difficulties living conditions.....

Avoid all of Melbourne, it's cold grey and it rains all the time ;-)

What do you include in the "entire Western Suburbs" ?? If you are including Point Cook, Sanctuary Lakes and Seabrook, then I don't agree. Even parts of Werribee are nice.

As for places to avoid, Sunshine sounds nice until you drive through; it is really just a huge industrial estate.
