Default Melbourne Bayside: Scarce availability of childcare options ..

Hi!

We got word from our relocation agency that they have checked the Bayside area for childcare availability and there was scarecly anything available. At least nothing that one would consider placing ones child into.

Just have a peek at what they said ..

There is absolutely nothing available for either child anywhere on the Bayside currently (Elwood, Brighton, Hampton, Sandringham, Beaumaris, Black Rock, Mentone) and they have long waiting lists ...

Not good. At least not for the likes of us that will be migrating with small children and that we are used to having them in daycare/++ most of the time.

Perhaps of interest to some on this forum .. ??!

Cheers,
Jørgen

If you ask Melbourne Helping Hand to assist you I'm sure they could find somewhere as they are based in the Mentone area.

Check out www.kinderhaven.com.au

They have a new centre opening in Carrum Downs. A bit further down but may do in the meantime until something better/closer comes to hand.
