You could try a search like this:

http://www.realestate.com.au/cgi-bin...at=&o=def&p=30

...then search for 'furnished' on the page. Don't expect too much though, it's not a very common arrangement here.

Hello

We were just in the same position and found that Gumtree was the best place to find somewhere for the short term. Lots of places on there to look at. Good luck finding a place.

As someone else has already said, furnished is not the norm over in Australia. Un-furnished is much, much more common.

In the UK, most things I rented were furnished. Only one wasn't.

Have a look on this site :

http://www.moving-to-melbourne.co.uk

Kate has quite a few fully furnished houses/appts/units all around Melbourne and numbers increasing all the time

Have a look on the site or drop her an email and see what is still available.

We have a unit, but its just outside the outer edge of the city in Monbulk in the Dandenong ranges. It is still available from the 29th Jan if thats any good. Drop me a line if you want more info.
