Melbourne for 6 weeks
I'm planning a trip to Melbourne for approx 6 weeks mid March to end April.
Would like to be based near the CBD/Bayside area.
Where's the best place to look for short-term 'granny flat' type accommodation? Does anybody here know a place that might suit me?

Tribeca serviced apartments in East Melbourne are very good (and it's a great location). We stayed there for 6-8 weeks a couple of times. Best contact them directly [email protected] rather than go via the "discount" websites (you are likely to get a far better deal). They are often happy to upgrade to 2-bed (for the price of 1-bed) and you can negotiate free parking and Wi-Fi. Go for a higher floor if at all possible.
