Can anyone tell me how they are doing meds unrequested.We have been told by our agent to wait until requested.Why?If we go ahead anyway will we get in trouble with our agent or DIMIA?There is someone else on another thread that also wants to know this answer so please someone help!!!! :scared:

Agents advise you not to do meds unrequested so that they do not go out of date.

You only have 12 months from the date of the Meds or PCC to validate. If you have a relatively straight forward case, with no med problems then you can do these early if you wish.

However if for any reason the meds get a health undertaking on them you will only have six months to validate in which case you will have to have them again.

We waited for ours, as it really only takes a little time off the wait if you front load.

If you want to do them early I'd suggest around the 4 month mark for MODL and the 6 month mark for Non-MODL - that's if you are going on a 136.

we done our meds unrequested once our application was acknowledged and we had a reference number we then contacted a few different doctors and stuff from a list given(not sure where it is) made the appointment then they sent them off.

The only negative is when you front load when your visa is granted you have 1 year from the date you had your meds or police checks done whichever is sooner!!
All in all though it definatley speeds the process up dont know why some agents are funny about there clients front loading

at the end of the day you are paying the agent he is working for you not vice versa!!

Your agent should inform you straight away of any info received regarding your case DIMIA will send any info straight to them as you gave them that authority on the form!!
Is your agent mara registerered?
Are you MODL and when did you send your application?

I don't think it will affect anything, they are just being careful. If they told you to front load and something went wrong then they would be liable. That is the only reason.

DIMIA will inform your agent and you're agent should pass that straight on. I wouldn't worry
