can anyone out there tell me how long does a medical exam and x-ray stay valid for before submitting visa application. thanks

I may be wrong but i think its valid for 12 months.
We ve just had ours done.

thanks for swift reply. got my medicals done nearly 6 months ago but haven't lodged application yet as house not sold yet so we were in no rush, but just found out that i'm pregnant again so i wouldn't be able to do medicals again until after baby was born. my husband thought meds were valid for 6 months so i'm pulling my hair out here trying to find the information on web site. i hope you're right or we wont be going anywhere for a while.

I wouldn't have the medicals BEFORE submitting your visa you could come unstuck with the date you have to validate! It can take around 7 months (depending on type of visa) to get your visa.

its a spouse visa and my children have australian citizenship so i think it shouldnt take too long.

Oh that's ok then panicking for you then!!!! think they take weeks rather than months good luck with the baby and the visa
