Hi all

We are currently at the last stage, having submitted our medicals a couple of weeks ago. My husband's visa is for STNI as a motor mechanic we are looking at living in Bendigo, Victoria.

My question is, can anyone give us a rough guide of what sort of wages he can expect as a motor mechanic?

I am going to Melbourne in June and was offered a sponsered job as a mechanic for $42k, they have now accepted me as an Aftersales supervisor, so I don't have to take my tools over yet. I understand that this is about a normal wage for a mechanic.

We have tried looking on the jobs websites, but they don't seem to be keen in posting the salary, which is annoying.

I work as a mechanic in Adelaide,my wages are $26.89 per hour
