Mary and I are both on the same flight from Manchester on 30 June. Less than 4 months, oh heck! Tummy full of butterflies. Brissie girls drinking club is going to have to go to larger venues. Maybe have to have some bayside meets as well as a lot of us want to go there.

Good luck Tracey - you shouldn't have too much trouble - it's a good time of year to sell.

Hi everyone, for those trying to sell, hang in there, it will happen. We had just about given up hope, having been trying to sell for almost a year (one sale having fallen through just before xmas). We had already decided a few weeks ago that we were heading out to oz anyway, whether the house sold or not, (flights booked for 5th April), and out of the blue, we got an offer last thursday, which we accepted. The buyers have nothing to sell, so having no chain should progress things quite quickly.

Good luck to all of you still trying.

Hi Tracey,

You can do it in 4 months. What sort of buyers do youi expect to attract? All ours had been first time buyers, which meant no chain whatsoever. Ours is a two bed flat, bottom of the property ladder, so cheapest (apart from one bed places) on market.

Fingers crossed!

Hope it all works out for you. We gave ourselves 4 months, and 2 were taken away from failed sale. Anyway, it'll work out, we'll be there soon, whether flat sold or not.!!

Take care, and best of luck,

Paul

hi paul,we re hoping to attract first time buyers to,our house is one of the cheapest type in our area, other than flats of course, but that depends on where they are.
We d love to be there with in 4 months, that would be ideal but we do have until october before we need to validate,so all is not lost if we dont sell straight away or even if a sale falls through,so i think we re being realistic, although i do realise that things dont often go to plan :scared: so we ll have to see,i suppose worst case w ed have to go and leave the house in the hands of the estate agent, but i dont really want to do that.

Good luck to everyone with houses to sell :D
