markcon have hit the wall in a big way the Administrators have been appointed and the bill is over 2 million its probably going to go up as this is just suppliers and im in there for 11 grand but my bill totals 24 grand and get this the director /damager(owner) whos name is marco Zago has his greedy little hand up for 49 grand

Unbelievable that Zago has his hand up to, considering its his company that went bust! ggrrrrr Sending in our application to QBSA today to getour defects sorted out ...

Just for any interested you can look at any builder on www.qbsa.qld.gov.au and Markcon have a suspended licence....

Its also a useful tool for looking at any directives to repair faulty work in the past and complaint numbers.

I certainly would check my builder out and want detailed explanations. Any decent company isnt going to mind.

I AM an ex employee who went down with Markcon & cant believe that such a simple minded person has the ordasity to get on here & write what you have without the facts.
Staff were NOT locked out of there office, Mark Zago does not have his hand up for $$$$ you may want to research your christian names before trapping off, new management had a massive role in the downfall of Markcon Homes & didnt have the understanding that we were a design & build company not a project builder. :curse::curse::curse:

I personally I dont give a toss if staff were locked out of the building or not, and infact if they werent locked out why the hell didnt they answer my phone calls or emails?

As for the new management, it is wholey unacceptable that they allowed people to pay thier deposits stage payments etc knowing full well that they were going under.

A business doesnt go bust over night.
