Default Looking for some help in Perth, please

Hello everyone,

We'll be heading over to Perth in mid March, and we're looking for any hotels around the Mt. Claremont area - postcode 6010. I'll be visiting John XXIII campus for some official business, and as I'm pretty unfamiliar with the area, I was hoping to be staying somewhere nearby.

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance, guys,
xizzles

I can't think of any hotels near John XXIII. You would be better to stay in the city and take the train or drive to the school. It's near the Claremont train station or easily accessable by driving. The hotels John gave you are somewhat close by, but you would still need to either drive or take transit from any one of them.

Wow, guys - I'm speechless with gratitude. Many thanks for the help, and I must be some doofus, 'coz I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how to even begin to search online.

Thank God for BE & friendly BE posters!

Cheers!

Cottesloe is the next suburb to Claremont and one train stop away and it is also right on the beach, much more picturesque than the city. It has lots of nice apartments and hotels. I would personally prefer to stay there. If you want a bit more character and atmosphere Fremantle would also be another good option, takes about 10 minutes to get to Claremont and on the train line.
