looking for some good tips!!
Hi everyone,
Going for my medical soon. Saw on the form that for my age category the blood pressure numbers are 140/90. The last time a doc measured my blood pressure I remember it being something over 90, so I'm pushing it for the second number (90). Does anyone have some good tips on how to get this down asap?
Thanxxx

There must be some herbal remedies
Bach Flower remedies "Rescue remedy"is good for reducing stress, but whether or not this will actually reduce your BP or not, I am not sure.
When you had youré BP done last did your GP suggest any reason why it may be on the high side?
Regular gentle exercise would be good, try swimming or even Yoga!!
Hope that helps

No, the last time they measured it, nothing was said, probably because it is not abnormally high underpressure (my first language isn't English, don't know if it's correct to call it underpressure) in general, but I'm worried that it will be regarded as high by a panel doctor.
I'm stressing, because I had an underpressure of 90 and saw that it says 140/90 on the medical form. That's a bit too close for my liking, especially because my blood pressure will probably be up: I don't like people in white coats !
Someone said it could be that I have too much salt intake, but I don't think so, my eating pattern is really standard, all food groups included.
Give up all salt then and drink 8 glasses of water a day ?

Stop worrying for a start. If you are concerned see your local doctor get a check up and see what he says and advises.

Does anyone think BP & PB are related, coincidence as Billy connolly once said. Surely not rising to that one PB.
