Keep an eye out for the FTC threads (stands for First Tuesday Club). The next meet will be first Tuesday in April. It's a lunctime meet anywhere between the beaches in good weather and the Hills (though often around Terrey Hills which isn't too far if you drive). Some people bring pre-school kids, at the moment there are lots of us don't. New faces are always welcome and we're a friendly bunch!

Thanks Ross, yeah I am up for anything at the moment. I work from home so am able to keep available most weeks. I can't PM until 3 posts!

Hi Yorkee A bit late replying to your post as I have only just seen it. I too am in Dee Why and would welcome a few new mates. I work Monday and Friday but am pretty free other days. Let me know if there are any meet ups planned! I do have transport.

Hi there Marian and Ian,

Nice to see that you are just around the corner as it were. I have a mate from Cambridge too and he is local lad. We get to the Services Club at Collaroy sometimes and the RSL seems to be the best club around - bit of a big local!!

It would be nice to see you both in the future, I work from home and am pretty flexible.

Hi Dave You may be interested in the Thursday Drinks Group. We meet every Thursday at different Pubs in the CBD. You can find info on Brit Expats CBD Thursday drinks. It's a pretty varied crowd ; singles and couples of all ages from 25 to 60. Mostly a youngish crowd with the exception of me and Ian! We get the bus from Dee Why to Wynyard which is usually the easiest cheapest option. Do think about it. Ian and I have missed a couple of weeks but are definately going next Thursday; if you'd like to join us let me know

I have seen the Thursday meet ups, I haven't been able to go yet as I take my son to Karate at Lane Cove that night.
