Welcome on your future arrival - my son is a keen guitarist - I will ask him later - he may be online now so you could PM him - his name is Turtletom

There is a place called BETTER MUSIC they are in a suburb called Phillip. They sell guitars, pianos, drums and heaps of other instruments. Plenty of people to help you in the shop.

There are other places, around the place, but, these people seem to have the better range of stuff.

Better Music

It's 29-31 Colbee Court, Phillip, ACT 2606 Ph 02 - 6282 3199

There's another music shop in Fyshwick that I can't remember the name of, but those 2 are your best options in the ACT.
