Librarian work advice!
Hello,
Right. I've finally decided that I'm actually going to get on and go to Australia! However, now the decision has been made I need to find out about it!
I've travelled around quite a bit so the moving part doesn't worry me too much and I have family and friends all over the world so I'm not leaving toooo much. But I always feel more secure if I have a job to go to.
As a Librarian my job is on the 'wanted' list so I think it should be ok to find a job, but can anyone tell me how I go about doing it from afar?! It's not like I can go for interviews!! I really want to know I have a job for at least a year before I go so that there's some security.
Help please!

As a librarian you most likely will be employed by a City/Shire Council, School or University.
You can look on council and University websites for positions, they always advertise the positions they have going.
But working for a Govt school will be harder as you will have to go through the relevant state/territory Govt education department. Individual private schools do advertise positions though.
try:
www.seek.com.au
