Default lHelp --moving to Redland Bay Queensland

Im looking to move to Redland Bay Queensland in July this year with my family. Im an established teacher here in the UK and i am getting registered in AUS to do casual teaching temporarily. Ive had enough of the classroom and wanted to know what jobs are best and more practical to retrain for in AuS.

I am thinking along the lines of electrician or refrigeration systems(Ac)
how could i train in these areas?
are there good jobs in these fields?
I am a technology teacher !!!

I quite like the idea of working with heavy duty equipment, possibly being a lorry driver or working with earth moving equipment. (totally different from the classroom) what are the job prospects in this field? in Queensland

any suggestions, advice, information is welcome.
