I'm a bit confused as tot why racism has been brought up. It's one email from someone who owes the OP money but doesn't want to pay. They have decided to be as rude as possible to presumably get out of paying the debt. No one other than the OP is going to show the slightest interest in it because it's a personal problem, not racist, not for the police, not for a solicitor, not for a newspaper or even the pointless and obnoxious ACA or TT. You simply delete it, ignore it and request that they pay their debt. I cannot believe you would get any different treatment in Germany than you have here. Even with malicious phone calls you need stacks before anyone can implement any legal proceedings.

The fact remains however that we are not in the UK or Germany, so just take the moral high ground, and conclude that whoever sent the email is an ignorant pratt and don't let it bother you.

I believe the lady got pissed off with your e-mail 
. Guess you can mail her back again, a reminder kinds. Its not worth wasting your precious time over such things.
The funniest part is that she used the term "Curry", in the e-mail although you are from Germany.

Forward the email to the 'special needs' department nearest to you, enlist her on some 'adult learning courses', if its a small debt then write it off and tell her that you are allowing her to spend it on getting the professional help that she needs.
Then tell her you hate curry, you have no intention of moving anywhere and more to the point, you fully intend to place a large German flag above her house and make her eat sausage for the rest of her life and furthermore, any further emails from her must now be in German.
On a more serious note, I am married to an Arab and if I had a dollar for every racist comment I have had about my marriage, I could pay off my mortgage.
Life is full of twats, you just learn to ignore them.

It's not a nice thing opening an email with that sort of content, but like everyone else says, delete it and put it behind you. I have lived in Germany for 8 years and have lost count the amount of times I have been told exactly what certain people think of us being over here. But you have to remember not everyone is like that, just ignore the bad ones, lifes to short. Gill
