Default Lays crisps

Does anyone know where I can buy Lays Crisps?
I seem to remember getting them from Coles 4 years ago the last time I visited Sydney.

Hi Wendy,
I used Adobe ImageReady. Its fairly simple to use, if your familiar with Adobe software. Its part of Adobe Creative Suite, I'm not sure if you can buy it seperately.

Adobe do a free 30 day trial of Creative Suite www.adobe.com.
I'm sure other programs exist. The image is whats called an 'animated gif', so any program that allows you to create an animated gif should work just fine.
I'll be expecting great things Wendy, great things indeed

This is a random thing for me to pop out of lurking to answer :-) but I'm pretty sure that Smiths = Lays. I remember reading a few years ago they rebranded Smiths as Lays, and it was a miserable failure marketing wise, so they reverted back to the old name. That's probably what you saw in the supermarket 4 years ago. :-)

Thanks for your reply. I really miss walkers cheese and onion. I know that sounds shallow but I think about them every day.
Has anyone found a crisp that tastes anything like them?
Smiths plain crisps are very nice but most of the meat flavour ones are not suitable for vegetarians.

Here in the US I occasionally buy the crisps I miss from an Internet mail order company. You have to buy a case of 48, but I miss them so much I don't mind this.
I did a quick google and found a similiar company in Australia (They have your cheese and onion crisps too!). From a quick read it appears you can order just 6 bags of each flavor, you lucky lucky people. Of course just how much you miss them may change when you realize what used to be a cheap snack in the UK suddenly becomes a premium priced product outside the UK...

Iam a crispaholic, would choose over chocolate any day and thought that the crisps on my last visit to aus were nowhere near as good. I love walkers sweet chili sensations and mcoys etc. I'll need to find an alternate for the auld comfort eating.

I'm not sure where you are, but you can get Walkers at quite a few british stores here in Melbourne - there's one at around 200 Collins St that nearly always has them. The store is called A Taste of home - I did a bit of a google and found this place, which has the same name but is in Sydney. You can mail order from them, though ;-) See -http://www.atasteofhome.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=431 !
