is a UK purchased lap top likely to work in Aus (for my student kids at uni!!)if we get an plug adapter or shd we buy a new one when we get there?
If so , how much are they new?

Also - will their UK phones work with new pay as you go sim cards or will we need to buy them new phones?

Hi Lis, Laptop's will work fine,change the plug and away you go, the phones will work as long as they are unlocked. you can get them done here if needed to.
