There are not so many of those posts nowadays but there are still plenty that do a good demolition job on the UK.
I do not like those posts because I do not see things that way.
To me they are 'flamebait'.
I would not want to see them locked though.

Hands up who can't wait to leave this dump
I have been in Oz one day, it is heaven, UK URRRRGGGGHHHHH
Anyone seen the latest OZ tourism ad in UK, it is just like day to day life here!!! If you have any doubts watch it !!!!!
I read the Mail today and it said that Blair is letting in 10 million Albainian gangsters every hour
I am fed up with paying taxes to keep Dole cheats in UK, this does not happen in Australia, does it???
You get the drift, these sort of ill informed posts go on and on with tons of support from wannabee immos.
They do not get locked, they get applauded.
Guess people really do just hear what they wanna hear. I mean for all those type of posts how much of a % do mine make??? Miniscule, yet it is seen fit to jump on my posts and choke em!!
Good luck to those offended by my rather mild posts, god help you in macho piss taking Oz, me thinks some will be screaming

I think the secret is that most people hate negativity - which is not to say that it is not valid.
Have to admit I find realistic posts like Hevs balanced and realistic - also bear in mind they are still HAPPY and fairly content. I find some posters are either a pain
eg Kong. My old friend Mike's posts are a tad only patronising if he feels under threat and then he tries to win it by taking the intellectual high ground.
I think you have to look for malice or mischeivious in people's intent. Some people are just plain malicious with their posts and they will always win enemies.
Dotty was funny and cynical so wasn't too bad. See, she was still *happy*. The problem is when people sound bitter. But then it shows anyhow.
My view on "Australia is great and the UK is a dump" is
both countries have exactly the same problems but Australia has little incentives that makes your day a little better - for some people.
eg a little bit of sun is good for many people, and a sunny day can make you feel great - I know - I live in Melbourne!!
Many people say things amounting to "I'd rather have all the sh*t in a shiner bucket than in a dull one".

Much simpler for any easily-offended to put you on 'ignore' than go running to the mods, who I'm sure just want an easy life rather than feeling they have to keep locking your posts.
