Well... you are unlikely to swallow any poos, however in summer there is the chance of being stung by the blue bottles and other associated smallish stingers. They won't kill you BUT DAMN THEY HURT..... These stingers come in on the tide in Moreton Bay, blue bottles are also common on the beaches in summer along the coast. They aren't there all the time- just look out for other people esp kiddies screaming in agony..... if so, keep a good eye out if you go in :p
