Just found the site - moving to Sydney in 4 months...
Hi Everyone,
Nice to find you all - so many people in the same position, what a feeling...
The move has been on the cards since May (internal company move for husband), went for a visit in August (for a week!) and after careful consideration have decided to go for it.
Husband is going at the beginning of Nov for 6/7 weeks & then coming back for a bit of skiing in Norway, Christmas with the outlaws and then we're all off!!

Bit worried about the 6 weeks alone - might get to like it!!
We're thinking of sending the boys (7 & 11) to Pittwater House in Collaroy - if anyone knows anything about it please let me know.
It looked OK when we were there in August. Think the boys will realy enjoy the whole outdoor, sporty Ozzie experience, especially after living in Norway (6 months of snow last year) - hope to keep up the skiing (??)

Wish I'd found this forum before I began proceedings - there's been a lot of interesting help on it (as well as a fair amount of aggro, it has to be said).
