There was a pump fitter job in the West on Saturday, I'll try to find it later.

If you go to: www.migration.wa.gov.au you will find 'Job Opportunities' on the left hand side menu. There are jobs listed for Perth and also for regional areas. Fitters are listed on both.

Hello Lisa

Yes Geordie is right in town at the moment between $21 to $25 an hour more if he is prepared to travel to the bush.

And there is no shortage of vacancies. I know there was only one for pump fitters this week but about 20 jobs for other fitters. I got a phone call this week from an agency called Monodelphous offering me work nearby fitting on drill rigs for $30 an hour but I'm making more as a boilermaker.

Don't worry there's plenty of work out here.
