That is true! But since I work for Sun I always expect the system to be available (harr harr!) and always deliver me the services I expect. You know: adaptive service capabilities according to user requirements .. blah blah! I should have been a sales rep...

.. or perhaps not!

Well; not sure how the unix work arena is in OZ. Quite frankly I have no real clue as to how the job market is. I was luck to get an offer internally out of the blue .. and we jumped on it of course. We're off to Melbourne early june. :scared:

The ACS should know about he work scene though: http://www.acs.org.au/ ...

/Jørgen, nearly that time I am planning to be in Melb. 4 to 6 weeks if all goes well with my employer. My resignation has been accepted, but I have 3 months committment.
I think the competetion will be healty for Unix, if we all of us are rushing to that place..

That is true! If you end up in Mel we should have a drink or two; I hear they make excellent coffee there... but I fancy tea as well!

I've also put my notice in. Now I am wearing my Aussie rugby shirts with pride in the office. Got a few comments on that, but .. all in all things are very good these days!

Hope things are well over at your place as well!

Booked flights yet? I'll try to call the local IOM office today .. since they have not contacted me back yet!

Cheers,
Jørgen

Yeah, but they seem to be coming down hard on porn surfing at work in the government now, which is a bit limiting . Just leaves the gambling sites and British expats.
