Just wondering what is the job situation for IT professionals in Sydney. I am java developer currently working in manchester moving to Sydney next year. What salary can I expect for six years Java/J2EE experience.

Our lead Java pgmr has just left for a job in the CBD. We're now looking for a replacement. The role is primarily maint/dev of our web site ordering system. The salary is 80-85k+super and bonus. I guess the previous guy had about 5 years experience. He moved mainly because he was getting stagnant here. After 2 years I know what he means.
