Job swap!!
Hoping to move to OZ next year but there doesn't seem to be a great deal of work out there for my trade (licenced avionic aircraft engineer) just now.
That, coupled with a growing weariness for the job has got me thinking (well dreaming mostly). Is there any scope for moving into another profession such as Mining or rail work? Has anybody made the switch? And if so, is there a huge amount of re-training required?
