Default IT sponsorship

Hi All,

My OH works in IT (systems network- MCSE, Avaya, CCNA) and has 14 years of experience, we are going to start looking for sponsorship, anyone been there and done and willing to share?

Anyone got any tips, hints or contacts

Please help x

Have you thought about applying for an independent skilled migrant visa instead of looking for sponsorship? It is not unheard of for people to secure employer sponsorship from overseas but it is quite rare (for anyone but medics).

www.seek.com.au is a good website for job hunting if you want to give it a try anyway.

I would suggest looking for a company with an Australian arm in your local country and then transfer.

Your OH will have lots and lots of competition applying for sponsorship without a PR visa or being local as there are people from all over the world with similar quals applying.

Alternative look at things like working holiday if your eligable or studying... Most of all tho good luck I am sure you can do it, just not sure sponsorship is the easiest route...
