It's official: Gympie's run by nuts
The world's first macadamia nut-fuelled powerplant was officially opened today at Gympie, north of Brisbane.
The Macadamia Cogeneration Facility will use the discarded shells of the nuts to power up to 1200 Queensland homes in its first year.

Doesn't surprise me Gympie's run by nuts!! Affectionately known as one-eyed Gympie due to the very small gene pool within the population

Gympie, a one lesson town as to why real estate prices are sooooooooo cheap compared to other places.
Great rule of thumb guide for most cheap towns.

please stop picking on gympie, i will move there in the beginning of december and will live and work there!!!!
yes, i haven been there before and all my boyfriend's family lives there. they are a very nice, very not - crazy family (not sure about my bf), only kidding, he is an aussie after all (which he uses as excuse for all kinds of things).
