I know some places in and around Oz are isolated but this takes the biscuit... Anone ever heard of this place.

Tiwi Islands Local Government

Think you might have to apply to local government for residence rights if you wish to settle there.

...Employment would be a problem but by all accounts its paradise. Likewise the Melville Islands. The fishing is out of this world!
