Youse i think is quite cool . Here are a couple of words that we hear used , mostly from the kids: Sweet / sick = Cool ( i actually told them off for saying sick , they said mum its cool to say sick , yep people use it ) One that annoys me is righty o , my trainer at the gym says it after every other word . These australianisms are not at all irritating - they are marvellous. Good god you all sound like my old elocution teacher. Language is oral and colorful and you should enjoy the differences - not get irritated cos they pronounce things differently. Apparently the Aussie raised (questioning) inflection is the biggest influence on young people over here - now that really is annoying.
