Default Insurance

Advice please folks...

We took out shipping insurance and so far the only problem is the washing machine, it won't work, had an engineer out today and it's an electrical fault. Must tutting about English models too expensive t fix etc.

My question is, has anyone claimed for a washing machine against their insurance as it was ok when we left, or is this a no chance kind of thing? Just put down to experience and move on???

If you had electrical or mechanical breakdown or derangement in your shipping policy then you may be able to make a claim

We claimed for both washing machine and dryer. First time we used washer there was a huge bang and it stopped working. Dryer had obviously had a knock as the drum was catching in the casing when trying to turn. No problem with claiming on insurance x

So, wrote to insurance telling them we were going to claim, they want us to write to the removers to hold them responsible for the washing machine not working. So spoke to removals as also had to get some paperwork to send and they said no chance, what did you buy insurance for if they want to claim from the removers.
Has anyone else had this?
