Import costs
Does anyone know the import costs, as we would like to import a landrover, when we return, what are the pro's and con's. We know how much it will cost to ship. Also what needs to be done to get the vehicle registered in Oz?

I dont know what they're like, but these have been mentioned a few times http://autoshippers.co.uk/ I think though, unless your car is a special edition, or has some sort of real prestige/monetary value it works out very expensive to ship across.
Have you tried a search - I know this has been raised a times

Here is a link to more information for you Australian Customs.
Customs duty will depend on the price paid for the car, if bought recently, or if they feel that the car was purchased to be exported to Australia.
