Re: I'm selling loads of furniture etc.......
Thanks for all the good wishes guys
There are various reasons for going back, but the main ones are lack of jobs for hubby. It's really disheartening watching him sitting at the computer for 8 hours a day getting frustrated 'cos no one is getting back to him. I know some people have waited longer than 8 weeks, but you'd think that after applying for 110 jobs, he'd have heard something.
Also the kids don't like it here. Again, I know we haven't been here long, but we wanted to give them a chance at something different, possibly better than the UK, but if they're not happy, then we'll take them back. I reckon it could be easier for those of you with younger kids - mine are 15,16 and 17 - but there's just not enough to do here for them, locally on an every day basis I mean. The kids at school don't seem sociable enough to invite them out and they don't like to ask. They are stuck indoors with us oldies all the time. They've been great about it and haven't moaned too much 'cos they know how stressed hubby has been and they don't want to add to the pressure, but I know it's been tough on them.
Anyway, never say never.
We can always come back one day.
Moneypen, let me know if there's anything you want. I promise that everything is in fantastic condition

Hi Julie
I think that it is very brave of you to admit that things just aren't going well for you there and you have decided to return. Each to their own and you won't get any criticism from me.
Good luck to you
